We continue to grow in our music making skills and understanding of concepts through warm-ups, vocal lessons, part-singing, movement, music reading, and individual and group singing.
We have several events that we are preparing songs for and performing in including our Remembrance Day assembly in November, the Winter Concert in December, the Winnipeg Music Festival in March, out Stevenson Celebration of the Arts in April, Music Monday in May, and the end of the year assembly in June. In addition, there are always opportunities available for students to grow in their singing through solos, parts in musicals, talent shows and special events such as singing at a hockey game, an assembly, over the intercom, or at the Seniors’ home. We look forward to sharing our music with you!
